Health Department of Punjab invites online application for the post of Medical Officers – Specialists recruitment 2012 from the qualified candidates and it’s notification issued on it’s official site .Candidates are hereby informed that the  Walk in Interview for the 
Medical Officers (Specialist) for the following specialties is scheduled to be  held on 17/11/2012 as follows.  The eligibility criteria regarding prescribed education, age and other eligibility criteria and application procedure is mentioned below

Name of Specialty  - Anesthesia, Radiology, Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry,  

Gynecology, Pathology, General Surgery, TB & Chest, Ophthalmology, SPM/ Community Medicine, Skin &VD and Orthopedics


Age limit:  Between 18 and 37 years as on 1st Jan., 2012


Pay scale - 15600-39100 + 5400 G.P + NPA + AdmissiblePG Allowance 


Basic and professional qualification - 1. M.B.B.S. Degree and holding a Post Graduate degree in requisite specialty, recognized by the Medical Council of 
India. 
2. Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India.
